Ed Walters will be speaking on the importance of analytics and AI in the practice of law. In addition to being CEO of Fastcase, Ed teaches AI and Robotics at Georgetown and Cornell Law Schools. For increasingly data-savvy clients, lawyers can no longer give “it depends” answers rooted in anecdata. Clients insist that their lawyers justify their reasoning, and with more than a limited set of war stories. The next generation of legal services will revolve around data driven legal services to clients. Ed will focus on the utilization of analytics and how law libraries can provide these data driven services to internal and external customers.
