Speaker: Grace Pai is the Director of Organizing at Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago. For over 25 years, Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago has worked to bring together the Asian American community, and empower them to create change in their communities. In 2017 they adopted a new racial equity mission that allows them to extend beyond their community, forge new relationships, and win on issues that affect all marginalized communities.

Awards: Because the May business meeting was cancelled, we were not able to acknowledge the recipients of the 2019-2020 CALL Chapter Awards last spring. Even though we won’t be able to hand out the awards in person, we will be honoring the following award winners at the September meeting.
- Agnes and Harvey Reid Award for Outstanding Contribution to Law Librarianship: Clare Gaynor Willis and Diana Koppang
- Lifetime Achievement in Law Librarianship Award: Kathleen Powers Goodridge
- Award for Outstanding In-House Publication: Jesse Bowman
Community Service: The Community Service Committee is encouraging members to donate to support our speaker’s organization, Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago.
