Panel Discussion: Managing Budgets in an Age of Austerity, Wed. April 13, 2011

The Relations with Information Vendors and the Continuing Education Committees invite you to a panel discussion Managing Budgets in an Age of Austerity, on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the America Bar Association, 321 N. Clark Street. Topics to be discussed:  Cancelling “core” titles; when and how to walk away from vendor negotiations; and providing services with reduced staff.  There will be opportunities tor questions and input from attendees on how your organization handles similar situations.

The cost of the event is $10, payable at the door.  All checks should be made payable to CALL.  The event is limited to 50 attendees and the CALL No-Show and No Walk-in policy is in effect.  Preregistration required and can be completed at http://goo.gl/7NLWu.  Each attendee must register.  Registration deadline is April 9, 2011. Please allow extra time for building security check-in.
