CALL Bulletin No. 223, Spring 2012

The Spring 2012 CALL Bulletin is now available.  The spring issue includes an election section with links to candidates bios and personal statements.  In addition to regular features, this issue also includes several interesting articles.  Pam Cipkowski reports on the Continuing Education Committee’s brown bag presentation “RDA and Your Library.”  Judy Gaskell writes for us on the joy of retirement.  In his article, “Library Outreach and the Italian Beef Sandwich,” Eugene Giudice urges us to think about new ways to market our libraries.  Julienne Grant introduces us to new possibilities for leisure reading in her review of Gianrico Carofiglio’s Involuntary Witness.  Last but not certainly least, we have a three-part TechBuzz column discussing the possibilities for e-books and e-readers from the perspective of our contributing authors Therese Clarke Arado, Heidi Kuhl and Lyonette Louis-Jacques.
