Many of our members subscribe to Capital IQ and S&P understands law firm librarians are facing a challenging period of budget constraints and outsourcing. Financial research is often arcane, intimidating and time consuming. The S&P representatives’ presentation will discuss how Capital IQ has helped librarians across the country streamline their work-flow, consolidate vendor costs and become indispensable resources to their firm’s partners. They will share examples of how Capital IQ has enabled librarians to pro-actively support the Business Development, Conflicts Resolutions teams and attorneys within the M&A, SEC, Tax, Intellectual Property and Business law practices. Those participating in the Survey offered at the meeting and in a post-meeting email will be eligible to win a pair of 4th row tickets to the Philadelphia Flyers vs Chicago Blackhawks game on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:30 pm.
