Awards: Because the May business meeting was cancelled, we were not able to acknowledge the recipients of the 2019-2020 CALL Chapter Awards last spring. Even though we won’t be able to hand out the awards in person, we will be honoring the following award winners at the September meeting.
- Agnes and Harvey Reid Award for Outstanding Contribution to Law Librarianship: Clare Gaynor Willis and Diana Koppang
- Lifetime Achievement in Law Librarianship Award: Kathleen Powers Goodridge
- Award for Outstanding In-House Publication: Jesse Bowman
Community Service: The Community Service Committee is encouraging members to donate to support our speaker’s organization, Asian Americans Advancing Justice | Chicago. Donations can be made online at https://www.advancingjustice-chicago.org/donate. They also have ongoing volunteer opportunities throughout the year, including A Just Chi, their program for any and all community members who want to join the movement for racial equity. Learn more at https://www.advancingjustice-chicago.org/get-involved/
Door Prizes: Two gift cards will be raffled during the meeting courtesy of LexisNexis. Check out their InfoPro for news and tips for librarians.
