The Community Service Committee invites you to join us for Chicago River Day on May 13, 9:00 am – 12 noon. The river system provides critical habitats for all sorts of animals from migratory birds to beavers, mink, turtles and over 75 species of fish. Every year, Friends of the Chicago River host a day dedicated to improving the health of the Chicago River.
Volunteers need to register individually. Please register for the Horner Park location using this link. We will meet at Horner Park, 2741 West Montrose Ave. Register now since spots are limited! Email Mike McMillan (mmcmillan@mwe.com) once you’re signed up so he can coordinate CALL attendance.
