Position Title: Library Resource Manager
Position Description:
The Library Resource Manager leads the Library Operations team within Sidley’s Library and Research Services department, ensuring that Sidley’s global attorneys and professional staff have reliable and timely access to library resources and information. The position oversees the procedures, policies and workflows that connect users with print and digital content, and implement best practices and continuous improvements. They work closely with the Library team and other stakeholders to support the firm’s research and information needs.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- MLS from an ALA Accredited University.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a library technical services or operations department.
- A minimum of 3 years management experience.
- Project management and planning skills.
- Experience with integrated library management systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, web-based products.
- Experience managing user accounts for research tools.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of MARC, Library of Congress Subject Headings and classification systems.
- Knowledge of the Lucidea SydneyEnterprise Integrated Library System.
- Previous law firm experience.
- Experience with Tableau, Sharepoint, LibGuides, and Vable.

Target Salary Range
$110,000 – $130,000 if located in Illinois
